WRITTEN IN BLOOD

Contributed by lemmen on Saturday, 27th November 2004 @ 12:11:33 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Written in blood is my past,
Her blood,
Her life taken,
Her love I shall never
forget.
Her soul shall always have
a place to rest within me.
I cannot give her my dreams
for they torture me.

Written in blood is my now.
A life of damnation I lead,
For her soul has not found
rest within me.
Her soul is lost in torment,
I wish for death to take me,
So that I may find her again,
So that her soul may rest beside
me.

Written in blood is my future.
Death has come for me.
I write from the grave,
Yes her soul was here
waiting for me.
A love reunited in death
is what I wanted it to be,
My our souls rest for entirety.
