It's That Time of Year
Its the time of year i feel quite sad
Christmas time approaching
Without mum and dad
Every year they spent it with us
How i loved to make a fuss
Of those two people
That were dear to me
Three years have past
The feeling is still there
An emptiness
All through the year
They are in my mind
Oh dear mum you were so loving and kind
Packing up the house was awful to do
Memories of our childhood every where
Putting your precious things
In boxes with care
Everytime i do something funny or new
I want to pick up the phone
I still need
To ring and tell you
I feel so lucky
I feel so blessed
That you were my parents
