Oh yes,
I miss you.
Yes,
I miss
You all
Misplaced
When the future
Came to call
You pillows, there to break
My fall
I floated up and drifted
Hope my love for you has sifted
Back down to rest
Where it once lay
With me.
Hey, stop me if im wrong,
But don't you wish I hadn't gone
Left fellow fishies in the pond
Where we were top?
Excited but I cried
When our friendship flowers died
What is winter trying to hide
From me, alone?
Try my hardest with the new
It reminds me just how few
Of you really loved and knew
Me
Way back when...
We were small with open hearts
Learning life as a true art
Dragged my knowledge in a cart
Round the next bend
And here I am stewing in class
Wondering if it's all a farse
Clinging wildly to the mast
Of what I know
Are these pebbles all the same?
Do they alter in the rain?
Express the truth without refrain?
Or do they lie?
Do they think the way I do?
Will they know me like you do?
I suffer, blinded and confused
Where's my next move?

Shucks - I'm with Jarred.... I don't any of us really know. But --- this is a great place to spend some time why trying to figure it out. Stick around... keep posting... and someday the answers will come. And hey --- if you find them first, let the rest of us know! lol

| darling friendship flowers are still alive, the roots arent destroyed by the future above the soil, if you dont wish them to ofcourse. I do empathise, I feel half my bouquet has wilted but you never know i suppose. I am here dont forget. I think i have the jist of your poem, (have i?) let me know xxx |
