What is this?

Contributed by vampyrekiss on Saturday, 27th November 2004 @ 07:13:16 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Why am I wanting this?
I have everything now

Why do I
want to feel
the cold steel
pressed aginst
my warm skin?

To rip open my skin
To watch as the blood
drains out of me

Wishing everything
would fade away

To not have to worry about
what happens tomorow

Just watching
my blood drain away

To cut though
so deep

But I wont let out
one peep

A smile will cross my face

As I fall to the coll floor

The darkness
has won

how about 'the sickness'
at least that's my feeling...since my son started cutting himself and he can't explain it to me
so i see it any cutting as 'the sickness'
thanks for sharing

I like this one, except the line "The darkness has won". It takes away the concentration from the character's pain to something completely different.

However, that line is good to have for people who might get sick from this poem. :)
