deep in a corner
or locked in a closet
people are crying
but not out of fear
they long to be loved
they want to be hugged
meanwhile their parents
are out getting *expletive*
the blood of hatred begins to flow
because ones neglected
many will go
bullets go braying
and thousands are praying
meanwhile the parents are out using drugs
drugs for their troubles and drugs for their fun
meanwhile at school their kid brought a gun
hes blaming the nerd
hes blaming the jock
hes killing some fag
cuz he likes the c
hate and neglect
when added together
can cause death and destruction
worse than bad weather
everyone needs somebody to love
everyone needs to be loved by somebody
the tortured few beg for an end
an end to their lives, an end to their hate
they want no more
and no more can they take
when stuff happens
it happens real fast
and when the walls turn red and people are dead
its your body parts theyll compare and contrast
to see who you are or at least who you were
they'll slip in your blood and land on your faces
all cuz his parents were at the wrong places
and with this topic i bring to an end
the poem you read and the poem i wrote
and remember all to love and to hope

| powerful write and well written, I agree that hate and neglect can cuase people to take it out on other people....sometimes I've thought about doing that and I balmed others for how I feel, well I've grown past that and moved onto depression...anyways excellent write keep on posting |
