I have not met you yet
Dont know if I ever will
You offer only friendship
And more as time will soon tell
I think about you constantly
I anticipate the most extreme
Throughout the long work day
At night in my dreams
I know this is wrong
I know I should say never
I have a man by my side
I wish to keep forever
Yet you offer what I need
You know what I desire
Thru friendship and guidance
Only you can put out this fire
Maybe I am being nave
Imagining something thats not there
Or overlooking what I have
Or simply just dont care
Whatever the reason may be
I must soon make a decision
Keep denying that which I need
Or follow when you beckon

| keep denying that which i need or follow when you beckon.....yes indeed.....i know of this struggle.....you cannot choose that person whom you fall in love with any more than you can change whom you are....what you need......or what the other may offer......i say love who you are and listen to the call....... |
