As I fade away from here tonight
Reach out and try to catch me
I'll slip through your fingers again
Falling forever
As I fall faster
Thoughts run through my head
Run through my whole past
Until I am dead
Screaming your name
As this hole gets steeper
The darkness goes deeper
A million hands couldn't catch me
Just like I couldn't keep her
As the wind blows hard
My eyes squint harder
My heart won't last
While the days get longer
The light's getting smaller
As the air's feeling colder
My hope's getting further
As we're all getting older
So I wait to see
When the bottom will come
Or will I fall forever
Away from the sun
