And this is where we hold hands and jump
You promised never to become this
I never let myself get happy
And together we fall into the vast abyss
You frighten me, when you hold me close
You whisper. I refuse to fall in love
You laugh with me and hold my hand
And smile. I refuse to fall in love.
And this is where you held me close
Telling me you were afraid wed be apart
I never let myself get happy
And so you wont break this heart
You puzzle me, when you hold me tight
You sigh. I refuse to fall in love
You spin me around in circles as we dance
You kiss me. I refuse to fall in love.
And this is where you held me up
When I was about to fall
I cant let myself get happy
What if you werent there at all?
You comfort me, when Im ready to die
You cry. I refuse to fall in love
You dont give up when I push you away
You love me. You wait. And I am ready to love.
