Lost Puppet

Contributed by diamond_tears on Monday, 29th November 2004 @ 03:43:40 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I am the lost puppet,
Being guided through life.
Hanging from these strings,
No freedom to call my own.

Im crying in desperation,
Struggling to break free.
Knowing that if I could,
Be rid of these strings,
I will fall down,
Fall deep below.

But the strings are too thick,
The knife wont cut through.
I will have to carry on,
Being tugged at,
Being tweaked.
Till one day,
Ill be set free.

Then Ill be rid of this weight,
I wont have to walk upright.
Ill just lie in the dust,
My body can rot,
Ill be my own puppet,
Ill be free from existence.

Long time no read. This was cool.
Just full of a lot of upsetting imagery.

You are right, more than one angle!
Interesting posture...death to being led around.
Great thought process.
