COLD FEET

My feet are cold
they must be wet
did I walk through water
I dont know, I forget
It's cold outside
water puddles everywhere
they are all over the lot
but did I walk through there
I don't remember
it has been a while ago
a good five minutes
or two or three or so
I do know it is cold
but my feet are dry
I took my shoes off to feel
my feet are still cold, but why
Seems to me
I lost my socks
must have been before I left home
I know. . .they are lost in the "lost sock box"
(where ever that is)
