Raging flames of fury
surging within my core.
Pain of loss, weeping of sorrow,
is all my life holds in store.
Promises of tomorrow
that may never be.
Trying to forget the past
that is all that I can see.
The mind's eye of another
holds no knowledge of a
loss,
While mine is a
weeping willow,
With raging tempest tossed.

"great write" as they usually say on here .. but i like your writing style .. and your word choice is good too .. sometimes it's hard to put on paper what you're feeling inside but it looks as though that may come naturally to you
