I met you one day at camp We stayed distant for a month I spilled my story You spilled yours. On that day You taught me To look beyond what I first saw To peel away the many masks And look at the wonders beneath. Ive gone through many things with you Pain, both physical and emotional. But every time With your help I have pulled through. Through everything your by my side. Be it bad or good Easy or hard With you I can accomplish anything But if you were to leave I would dither into nothing. My accomplishments would fade to dust My hopes and dreams to smithereens. For without you I am nothing Just a faded shadow In a deep back background.

What does she think of it?
This is plainspoken
but still interesting,
giving us a look at something
personal,
and not babbling on endlessly
and needlessly.
Nice job. |
