Screaming inside
Must hold it all in
Nobody knows
The life I live
Or why I do
And why I hide
So lonely inside
And when I cry
My crimson tears
Nobody sees
My silent pain
So dark is the day
When all I see is night
Desperate for something
But not knowing what
Hiding from hell
In a prison
So far from home
Its not safe
But I dont know
Where to run
Or who to tell
My secret to
Saying nothing
Is hard to do
When my eyes
Say it all
Avert them now
Run from you
I dont know
who to trust
Nobody knows
Who I am
When I shut everyone out
From my life
That nobody knows exists
Or when I lie
To cover up
The pain I hide
And when my tears
Are oh so blue
Nobody sees that
Even when
I want them to
Sorry for the pain
That I cause you
Sorry for the worry
I see it in your eyes
I pretend I dont
When I see you
Crying for me
It hurts me
More then you
Could ever know
Because I want
To tell you
But the words
Will never form
Or dare to ever
Be mentioned
the story is sad
but oh so true
The end is due
For a life
That was never lived
The hope is gone
For a soul
That knows not
What its like
To be saved
