Thunder distance clouds flashes
Of light seen clear.
Storm is slowly moving something
Wicked this way comes.
Darkness fills the distance sky.
The smell of rain fills the air along
With the smell of decaying flesh.
Thunder is heard closes closer every
Minute.
The breeze becomes cold and moisture
Sticks to your skin like glue.
Flashes of light one after another
Gods fire show in the sky
Illuminates the heavens.
Sirens began to sound with a straight
And steady hum.
Hail begins to fall.
Winds begins to race.
Day becomes night.
Death circle out of the clouds
Slams to the earth below.
I can see it in the distance at least
A mile high spinning black death.
It's headed right to me straight and
true ripping up building and flesh
Along the way.
Building up speed getting faster
And faster as it comes this way.
Too late to run too late to hide
Put my head between my knees and kiss
My bottom good-bye.
It stops still spinning right next door
to me you can see right inside
Spinning death as it grows.
Then suddenly it moves off to the
right and spares me and my family's
Life.
As it races out of town I can see a
smile within it like it said you won't
Be as lucky next time.
A hundred souls were lost this day
Some entire families.
Mine were spared only by God's
Merciful love.
Thunder is heard off in the distance
Flashes of light fill the heavens.
Something wicked this way comes.

actually, i liked it .. but i guess i'm a nobody .. at first it was hard to read but once i got used to how the words flowed together, it all made sense and i was able to picture it all in my mind as i read along .. keep writing and never give up or think your poem sucked just because no one commented.
