I am sad and I am mad

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Leave me alone,
Please go away,
I don't want to talk about it,
Maybe another day.

Why do things happen,
Why can't I get my way,
Why does sorrow
always bring pain.

I want to get mad,
I want to yell and throw a fit,
I want to say no way,
I want to just forget.

I want you to listen,
I want you to say
that no matter what
everything will be ok.

I want to be younger,
Then you will be too,
I want to take the bad things I said,
the things I said to you.

I want the time again
Then we can always share
Like we used to
way back there.

Why don't you listen,
Why don't you care,
Why can't you promise
that you will always be there.

Don't hurt my feelings,
Don't make me cry,
Tell me daddy,
That you will never ever die.

Tell me.. now!

Very well written the tears you have inside and out. May you never get the call. And just keep telling him you love him :)

Didn't like the last line, it wasn't necessary and didn't fit. Other than that, decent stuff, love the repetition. Maybe structure a little contrived? Not sure on that one, that kinda thing works for a surprising lot of people. Keep writing!
