Could someone please explain the rain
The clouds are a darker shade today
The dullest of grey swept the skies
Still the darkness reflected through my eyes.
Falling droplets down my cheek
Leaving me breathless and wasted and weak
It cost my soul to try again
And still I sit without a friend.
Could someone please explain the pain
My body is broken again and again
I've left my toll in broken bones
Another night spent alone.
My heart is heavy with loneliness
This place, my face is such a mess
I forgot to let it slip away
So I'll wait for another day.

| this is really the sadest write it is beautiful and I wish for your darkness to be filled with light amd that you will never really be alone even in a place that never feels like home |
