Lying in my restless slumber, one by one you come.
I know you're there watching me. I'd like to think
you're wanting me. Staring at me, my distorted
body, while I'm standing in the corner observing.
Yearning to be touched, by at least one. Three
of you now looking at each other, you talk not knowing
I'm still here, hidden away from you,
away, out of view.
Tell me, tell my body you want it, you want what it
offers. I offer so much. Only two truly know, one I want
to know, but I know never will know.
You love me, I know you do, but now I'm gone. You let
me go; let me go, so now I've faded. It's come undone.
I've re-entered myself. But I see it's all the same.
Does anyone truly care? I think not. I'm still not important
to you. It's clear I never will be.
