Another Autumn

Here I stand alone in oblivion again Gazing at the autumn leaves
I witness them falling down one after another Taking away with them all my dreams
I crumple down the autumn leaves under my feet Crush them to seek a redemption from my sufferings
At last the leaves vanish away from the tree Reminding me of my eternal pains
Doesnt that happen every autumn Each falling leaf worsens my everlasting longings
But autumns come n go every year Brutally snatching away from me all my hopes
And all I do isstanding alone in oblivion Gazing at the autumn leaves

Good poem. I must admit though, I am an Autumn lover! Even though at my age I may look foolish stomping on those leaves.... : ) |
