My illusions are comfort for my conscience
as I sit in this solitary confinement they call my mind
a life long uphill struggle to gain control
of something that was once rightfully mine
you cant hide it from me
you can bury it but with rage
in time everything will be exposed
i look into your eyes and see your lies
your misunderstandings lie before me
cradling little baby of insanity
one conceived by you and your lover
brought into this world totally unaware
abandoned and stripped of rights
night after night
this ***** isnt right
break the barrier
break the silence
shut up,sit down
and take a look at life
make a difference
end this strife
he sits back and watches your envy
arise from your deep green eyes
once hidden feelings now showing
as clear as your lies
a family bond ripped at the seams
by a faceless man
a world torn apart
at the dirty hands of an enemy in disguise
break the barrier
break the silence
shut up,sit down
and take a look at life
make a difference
end this strife
tears of pain you shed
when people are quick to criticize
but smiles of attention brought back
when simple souls reach out and sympathize
a touch of love and a smile
makes all the difference to you
if that is what made you happy
made you feel like life was worth a shot
didnt you think your little girl would too?
break the walls
rip up the rage
speak up,stand up
step into your life
make the changes
put an end to this strife
