In the silence of the night
while my eyes are closed
i dream of you
the sweetness of your lips
your dark hair and loving green eyes
the words you speak to me
are both meaningful and wise
although we have never met in reality
and never will
when im awake thoughts of you linger still
but tonight when lifes miserys fade away
and im asleep
i will dream of you
we dance in the moonlight
our bodys entwined
you hold me close and tight
our souls and hearts combined
the perfect love that cant be lost or taken
so for tonight my dear
i will treasure this moment and
i will dream of you untill i awaken
