Harmless Fun

She always loved trying new things
It is just some harmless fun

She didn't do much thinking before she decided
To go to the party
To take a few drinks
To smoke a little weed

She had a few drinks and nothing happened
So she had a few more
As far as she knew it wasn't affecting her
She just kept drinking the night away

Then seeing everyone else doing it
She decides to try a little pot
It wont hurt anything
I will just do it this once

She took a few drags
Begining to feel better and better
As time passed her by
She drank her beer and smoked her joint
Until the night was almost gone

Now laying there drunken and stoned
She thinks to herself that wasn't so bad
Finally passing out she lays there motionless on the floor
She never woke up after that

She thought of it as just harmless fun
The fun she enjoyed for that one night
Cost her, her own life
Leaving many friends and family members behind

What a great party
Good beer, good weed
Wasn't that fun?
