When some people cry and some smile
I keep crying as I smile
When some people smile and some cry
I keep smiling as I cry
When affection flows into our mind
The path laid is covered from behind
Here I smile thinking of my relatives
But I cry without having any powers
Some people cry and some smile
I keep crying as I smile
When the mind will be filled with kindness
It becomes the abode of god / goddess
Without that kindness people live here
But they search for god everywhere
Some people smile and some cry
I keep smiling as I cry
But the time will change one day
Our worries will all go away
I smile by seeing the expected
I cry having seen the affected
Some people cry and some smile
I keep crying as I smile
