Their faces are emotionless & pale
Their homes sometimes smell
Who loves them ?
For them it can be a living hell
Parents spend all their money on drugs & drink
Parents that scream & shout
These are their children
This is not what love is about
I go for a visit
With a watchful eye
There are times when i leave
I am full of emotion & feel i could cry
All they need is to feel loved & secure
The weak little smiles touch your heart
They crave for your attention
There are so many problems
To many to mention
You give guidance & help
And know it falls on deaf ears
Its scarey to think
What these small children will learn from these parents
They are all so precious
And deserve the best care
Its in the hands of the courts
I struggle to walk away from there
