Spread your wings and fly away
don't let gravity hold you down
there are hopes and dreams you have
and they should be fulfilled
Letting people hold you down
wear at your defences
it's not fair to you or anyone
so do what you want to do
People believe what they want to believe
and people do what they want
this forces others to simply react
usually towards the negative
You shouldn't have to live by anyones rules
the freedom calling from your heart
though the world is often dark
spread your wings and fly away
