Only One Mama She spent most her life with seven kids and their dad. She never had much but she loved what she had.
That look in her eyes; the day ,daddy brought home, a new wringer washer. That old scrub board was gone.
When I think back on those times, you'd think we've all got it made. With dvd's, big tv's and new microwaves.
But in those days, our mom and dad , was our real mom and dad.
Our brothers and our sisters too were full blood , not half.
She had hard times, but that mama of mine, she sacrificed ,all the while.
And if I ever failed to let you, mama I'm tellin you now;
There's many mama's in this world but God gave us only one, and I just wanted you to know, He made the very essence of a mom.
We hope you know we still need you, and mama ,we know someday you'll have to leave us, too.
But in the meantime, we just hope you know, that ,of the mama's in this world, God had to break the mold, when it comes to you.
I love you Mama
