Trees are bare Branches reaching as if to grab Here it is ths second of december Skelton fingers ready to nab A small finch still hanging around A big o'l bluejay on the ground Squriles scurry for a tree Mans best friend along side of me Walking trails that curve and twist Freckles leash tugging at my wrist I enjoy the freshness of the air Morning dew and weather fair Down a hill through some reeds Leaving muddy tracks for others to see Freckles sniffing at the ground I listening for natures sound I take this treck most everyday It gives me pause to listen and pray Be silent be still Time to listen to His will

| Great poem. Like the line "skeleton fingers ready to nab". A few spelling errors, but otherwise great write. |

Now, I like this entirely and can't disagree with a thing except some of your spelling. You took me to that place and, yes, that would be my quiet time with the Lord as well.
