Words bounce around my head
like my brain keeps getting fed
with new ideas and different faces
just keep thinking of all the places
that have changed my life
things that have cut me like a knife
right through my heart
they tear me apart
I look around seeing what's near
I look behind me, knowing what I fear
They stand behind me
But never when I can see
I try not to care
But I can always feel them stare
The hair on my neck rising
It's not so surprising
when I turn around
Nothing can be found
