With the falling of the purest white snow,
My mind is swept back to memories of you,
My feelings for you I can no longer show,
And I don't know what will become of me or what exactly I should do,
But I do know I can no longer love you; sometimes I wish I could turn back time,
And go back to the start; when we first met; and make sure that I would not fall for you, for you will never be mine,
I have waited for you; even though you were taken, and now you are again just when I thought you were free,
I should have known you would never see me,
I love you so very much,
And all I wanted was to just once feel the touch,
Of your beautiful lips on mine,
That would have been beyond divine,
You were everything to me,
And you will always be,
But it is time to say goodbye to my love; for you might be marrying soon to another,
And you must remain simply my friend, and like a brother,
But I must say goodbye to my love,
For it is not needed or wanted by both of us; I can never express in words what you mean to me,
For surely you were sent to me by God above,
I just hope you see,
Someday maybe, that you missed out, on me; maybe I could have done something for your life no other girl has before,
But I can't think that way anymore,
So bon voyage my heart, auf wiedersehen my love, you must leave me, and never come back again, unless it is for someone other than him
