when im with you,
il stare in your eyes,
il feel my heart beat,
and il watch you there,
play your guitar,
wave your long brown hair,
il see you look up,
to meet my stare,
il turn away and laugh,
like you were never there,
but contently il listen,
il watch the clock,
treasure the minuites,
i have in this room,
treasure this moment between me and you,
your heart is set on another girl,
and it slices me straight through,
i know your afraid of loving her,
as you we turned down before,
but i wont turn you down,
i wont let you sob and cry,
il hold your heart near to my chest,
and smile when you say goodbye,
i know we have a connection,
though it may be beneath the surface,
that is part of who i am,
i dont think you understand,
but i want you to want me,
i want you to love me,
i want you forever by my side...
