empty sex and then a cigarette
youve got relationships like roadmaps that stretch across the world
complete with picturesque backdrops of some idealistic life youll never lead
ive got a bottle for every regret
and cirrhosis to ail my broken heart
like a train derailed
im knuckling through the dirt
feeling around for something
mildly familiar
and im drunker than ive ever been
choreographing my revenge.
scrawling in ink the slightest hint
to bring you misery.
but i forget
its useless
youre inhuman
vengeance is wasted on the heartless.
