Through the darkness of the
Haunting night
The creatures of night begin
Their flight
Hiding deep within the shadows
Their move they made
Deciding upon whose
Life to take
A lonely child sits alone
On the ground
A solitaire space
No one around
They swoop down below
Gliding through the air
Robbing the life of an innocent
They do not care
Upon her neck they leave
Their mark
And drag her into
The haunting dark
