There He Goes

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

there she is
over there
she's sittin' at the table
smilin' at the one she took from me.

but she don't know
he still loves me
cause' he asked if i'd be willing
to let him come , to my place, for a talk.

tonight at eight
he'll be here
and we'll talk about the good times
about what went wrong and why he walked.

i asked him what
was on his mind
he said, oh, i've missed you, baby
i want to come back home
if you don't mind.

i said ok
come on home
lets love until the sun's up
baby, i've missed you too
and welcome home.

so we're happy
and together
i'd hoped it would last forever.
he said i was his soul mate
and that we were meant to be.

but here it goes
he's gone again
and i'm sure i know who he's with again
i thought that he loved me
but i was wrong.

there they are
they're sitting close
seems like they may happy.
but she don't know
he called me again

so her and i
we got together
we came up with a good plan
we talked about the sorry, lowdown dog.

yes there he is
all alone
ain't it funny how we dumped him
now he's got another sick romance.

here we are
there he is
aint it funnyyyyyyyyy
