THIS ROSE

Contributed by MMISS on Sunday, 5th December 2004 @ 11:35:04 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

i picked you from all
the other loves that i've had
they didn't show me love like this
and there's just somethin'
somethin' bout' your kiss

it's about the way
you took my hand
you looked at me
you held me close

so honey "will you take this rose?"

if you take this rose
and walk with me
you promise to stay
and sweep me off my feet

then i'll give to you my love
along with it i'll give my heart
i'll promise to never leave
or let nothin tear us apart

oh, honey, will you take this rose?

this rose, this rose
this perfect scented rose
that's what i see in you
a perfect little scented rose
this rose , this rose

oh baby, will ya' take this rose

ill hold onto you
and keep you so close
if you'll say to me
i'll take this rose.
just take this rose
this rose

This lovely write actually put goosebumps on me. I like it when words move me that way. This was so romantic. Thankyou for the comments you left on my GEORGIA ON MY MIND poem. They were greatly appreciated. Much peace to you.
