What Should I Do?

Contributed by johncenasangel on Tuesday, 7th December 2004 @ 12:35:19 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I remember that day
that cold winter night
I got that call
about your plight

I loved you
from distances afar
I always thought
you were the next shining star

with your humble voice
and captivating eyes
when I looked at you
I was at an all time high!

you spoke to me
told me your woes
you told me the girl
whom you have chose

I gave up on you
I gave up on love
I figured when I die
I will find it up above

but when I got
that fateful call
I cried tears of joy
I started to bawl

I rushed to the hospital
ran to your room
I made sure you were okay
my love for you started to again bloom

you said you noticed me
that day at school
that you couldn't take your eyes away
you couldn't talk to me you felt like a fool

you always admired me
from that day on
you even wrote me
a heartfelt song

I remember that day
forever more
and I look forward
to what's in store!
