Stay by my side, I can't forget you.
What we had is being cut short; just tell me
you still want me.
Sittin around, feelin down, wantin you around.
My freind, my friend; I would've been
happy with more. Please don't let me go.
I'm being pulled away. Just know I'd rather
stay. What I wouldn't give to be back with
you. To hold your hand is all I want. I regret
myself for not being brave. I regret what if's.
I miss you.

I too know what it feels like to miss a former companion. The hurt is perpetual as well as lonely. Alas! Writing out these feelings shall help one cope and I am thankful for that. Thank you for sharing this beautiful work of literature,
