In laughter or tears Alight in the pause of breath, I imagine holding you, Your hands, such small hands, And your smile, a beautiful smile Taking me as I take you into my arms.
I imagine you, What you would see in me, A father, a man, How you would laugh And I would laugh And you would cry And I would kiss your tears. If you were here I would smile and reassure you And you would take me to my dreams again.
And I imagine you, The name you never had And how I would call to you And you would come to me And I would hold you in my arms And kiss away your pain.
In laughter, or tears, Alight in the pause of breath, I imagine you, Your hands, such small hands And your smile, a beautiful smile Taking me as I take you into my arms, Stirring me with soft and startling eyes.

Such a loving tribute to a tiny soul. This touched me very much. This was a brave and beautiful write.
Nicely done, Abraham -

***** this is sad!!! I however do like (and respect) how you took that sadness and still wrote about it in a beautiful way. |
