How Feelings Can Change

Contributed by Xion_alXar on Tuesday, 7th December 2004 @ 11:02:04 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I remember a time,
When it was fine,
To go days without,
Talking or having a thought,
About you at all.

Over time this changed,
As we talked and learned,
More about one another.
I began to like you better,
And better with each day.
I knew I liked you but wouldn't say,
Because I was scared it wasn't shared.

Soon I looked forward to talking to you,
And would go through each day hoping to.
The longing to talk grew and strengthened,
And now I can't go a day without having talked,
To you for atleast a little while.

When I awake I'm thinking of you,
Through the day I work just to,
Kill the time away till we can talk.
Around my mind you spin all around the clock.
I fall asleep with thoughts of you,
And dream dreams of you too.

I realize now my feelings are more,
Than I used to think they for sure.
It's not like that I feel for you,
But Love...
