Final Attempt

Topic: Suicide

She couldn't take it anymore
The pain held in her heart was too much to bare
She had tried time and time before
No success with any of her previous attempts

She had tried everything
Straight razors
Pills
Ropes
But never bullets

This time she would get it right
She had to end it for good
She loaded the barrel with one solemn bullet
Streaming with tears

This time it will work
All she has to do is pull the trigger
It can't go wrong
She can finally leave her painful past behind

Relief is only seconds away
She has screwed her life up
Only to fix it through death

Her last thought was her newborn child
Who would be better off without her
One last tear fell
As she pulled the trigger

Straight up midnight
She took her own life
Because she couldn't take the pain anymore
Her final attempt solved it all
