Keeping my sanity

Contributed by caughtinadream on Wednesday, 8th December 2004 @ 07:28:30 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Desperately diving into the depths of your soul
Silently screaming for God to make me whole.
Pondering the echos of your voice in my head
Simply praying for a safe place to be led.
Wonderous moments I hold in my heart
Yet shaking, for I seem to be falling apart.
Suddenly sinking and I don't know why
I realized I have been living a lie.
Over me the devil cast his spell
Where right into your arms I fell.
I break free of these chains just in time
Retrieving the sanity that rightfully is mine.
Each day I improve more and more
I refuse to lose my faith; its what I live for.
