Mommy, your eyes stained red.
Mommy, when you do this,
It makes me cry at night,
Mommy its not safe.
Mommy, please don't,
Mommy, please stop,
Mommy, please come back.
Mommy, its not fair,
It makes you sick,
Mommy, it makes you change.
Mommy, you say its okay,
You tell me not to worry,
But Mommy, it makes me sad.
Mommy, why won't you stop?
It makes me angry,
Mommy, don't do it again.
Mommy, please don't,
Mommy, please stop,
Mommy, please come back.
Mommy, you promised,
You always said you'd stop,
Mommy, you claimed it was safe.
Mommy, I told you,
You said it was fine,
Mommy, now its finally happened.
Mommy, how could you?
Its never been fair,

| i didnt particularly like the use of mommy so many times. it didnt give this poem an overall tone of a little child speaking like it should have because it was so overused. you could also try to be less vague with what she is doing. to me she is consuming alcohol, but it could many any number of things. |
