Lifes a mess
I can't rest
I won't give up
I'm just stuck
That's all
Don't try to catch me
I'm not afraid to fall
I will act different
I will say things I don't mean
I will hide my tears
They will go unseen
I'm not hurt
Just disappointed
More in myself
Than anything else
I'm the reason for every heartache
I'm the one who causes another to only question their actions
I'm not here to be loved
I'm just a stepping stone for one to find themselves
On a road far from me
Where they belong now
Sad, yes
Something I can't control
I wish I could
But its who I am
I tried to be happy
and I was
But only to myself
Truly happy that is
I know the road I belong on now
far away from here
Far aways from my unsuccessful goals
I will make new ones
I have to
And my dreams have to change
Goodbye to hope for now
Goodbye to hidden terror
For you have already shown your face
I've had enough from everything anyways
Its time for something new
Goodbye to you too
My friendships don't last
Ever
It's one thing I fail at
I lack compassion
or somehting of the sort
Just another thing I was born without
I could write this and give it to someone
Someone who doesnt even know me
Who based my characteristics on one day
But I guess one day is all there is
One day of happiness
Balanced with the rest of unmentioned sorrow
One day of smiles
Along with the rest of mixed emotions
One day is all we had
One day
One day thats gone and never ever to be back

i agree, very touching yet you seemed to examine what every one else is feeling rather than taking a look a little closer to home.
you can only make your own happiness and i hope you do.
lose your self in your poems like i do lol.
you have a talent and that is your starting point xx |
