Captive Angel
She longs to be free
Yet doesn't really want to be
Angel wings alight
She's ready for flight
But still she's afraid
Of being betrayed
By a force
That to her is unknown.
So she stays in the shadows
Always hiding her face
From the unseen enemy
In a little known place,
And she remains a captive.
