I silently scream out
And drop to my knees
Scratch my tainted skin
To free my disease
Why do I keep trying
Clawing my way up
Just to lose my grip on you
And sink back into the mud
Perhaps I was mistaken
To think I heard you speak
It mustve been my own cries
Whose echo struck this peak
One step could bring sleep
And a dreamless death
But I turn back to you
For wicked shall not rest
