Way back in history
my people weren't treated equally
they were forced to give up their seats
they were treated like they're nothing but colored freaks
they were all afraid to say was wrong
they were scared to be strong
until a woman make a move
she refused to give up her seat and move
she was so brave
she didn't care even if it would take her to her grave
finally they spoke
and said we are people like you folk
the others finally understood
and my people were treated the way they should

Very sad but it did happen.
I'm happy to hear that the women stood her ground.
I'm part Indian myself and altho I don't remember any of it or was born later they had a very hard time too when the rest of the planet migrated.
