Christmas time is drawing near
Our gifts from up above
So everyone should do their best
To show a little love,
The presents and the money
Have been made a part of this
But the very meaning of this time
Is more than often missed,
It's not about the gift you give
Or how much that you spend
It's all about what's in your heart
That truly sets the trend,
Peace on Earth-good will to men
Is what we all should show
A little warmth can plant the seed
Which then begins to grow,
If everyone could plant one seed
And each then plants another
The world would be as God had planned
With all as sister and brother,
For Christmas is a time to give
To those who may have less
And to remember He who died
So we could all be truly blessed.
