As the many days pass on I grow happy once again But my depression is not quite gone Once more I take up my pen I write what I feel Till you go and blow it Like a drunk behind the wheel Lose control to crash in a pit I reach for my knife Draw pretty designs in my arm I won't end this life Yet I mean to do plenty of harm I do not bleed I will not cry Till once more when I do the deed Oddly happy again, I smile and sigh

excellent write. emotions just seem like a cycle. if only happiness lasted longer than depression in the cycle. |
