Please help her...

Contributed by in2thetwilightzone2 on Sunday, 12th December 2004 @ 03:13:42 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

into the sky,
an angel took me by the wrist,
pulled my body forth,
shook me by the fist,
into the vortex,
into the skies,
beyond to eternal bliss,
driven into the zone,
taken into the abiss,
memories disipating,
dreams die,
i took one look at the painful reality,
then i whispered 'goodbye..."

into the clouds,
life draining fast,
tears of dread,
as i recitte visions of my past,
at least now i can rest,
maybe i'll be better off dead,
in this life i was alone,
nothing to loose,
nothing to give,
but there was one person,
one who believed i should live,
but now the deed is done,
please god help her to forgive...

she couldnt save me from myself,
she couldnt save me from taking the final breath,
now she must grow strong,
never could she have prevented my death...

someone help her breathe,
some one look after her now im gone,
though i'll always be watching over her,
it'll be tough for her to move on,
someone wipe her tears,
as my shoulder can no longer be there,
someone please hold her tight,
run their fingers through her hair,
someone guard her,
dont let her reach for the knife,
please dont let her join me,
dont let her take her own life,
help her in the mornings as she struggles out of bed,
please sing to her her favorite song,
to drown the pain within her head,
though she may never be the same,
though she will never forget,
please tell her it wasnt her fault,
tell her she has nothing to regret...

she was helpless,
nothing she said could have changed my mind,
even if she went backwards,
and did this day for a millionth time,
it was me who decided,
i couldnt take anymore,
so help her reach for her uniform,
when she opens out her draw,
though the tears will be constant,
and the confusion too much to bear,
please just keep her warm,
dont let her drown in her despair...
