Torn and bloody, I stand apart.
You foolish mortals do not understand me.
I live for life, as you die for it.
I am a keeper of sorts, for I can protect you.
I have seen the fire that burns the mortal hand.
I know the one who made the mortal land.
Long is my shadow and long is my reach.
I have you all where I want you.
I have nothing to fear from you, but you have everything to fear from me.
I own you, or so do I think?
What power is above mine?
Only nothing but the divine.
So keep with me now and prolong your stay.
For I am the one who shall destroy your way.
I will keep your soul at bay. I will make you love my way.
