It is now time to move on
The power you once had over me
Is gone.
The weakness I once possessed
Has dissolved as light unto
Darkness.
The taste of you has been erased
Along with the humiliation
I once faced.
Goodbye emptiness
Goodbye pain
Goodbye loser
Goodbye blame.
It has taken me too long to see
That never were you worthy
Of me.
Never were you deserving
Of my weeks wondering, writing,
Thinking, wishing, cursing.
Selfish man without a soul,
Good riddance now
I am finally back in control.
