The ground covered in snow
So white and so soft
Kids making snowmen
And having snow ball fights
I love this time of year
Helping decorate the tree
Hanging old and new decoratins
Waiting for Christmas day to come
Hanging lights up everywhere
Outside and in
I wish it could be like this all the time
My whole family getting together
I love this time of year
The night before Christmas
Everyone goes to bed early
Waiting for that time to come
When saint nicholas will bring them gifts
And they'll wake up and see them all under the tree
I love this time of year
A warm fire in the fire place
Everyone standing around it getting warm
Wondering what they all got for Christmas
I love this time of year
